A Happiness That Gives Him Security

Imam Ibnu Rajab – رحمه الله – said:

The Blessed happy one, is he who seizes the opportunities of the months, days, and hours, and draws closer to his Lord through the various acts of worship within them. Perhaps he will receive a blessing from those blessings and be happy with it — a happiness that gives him security from the Fire and its burning torments.

20. The Angels Surround You With Their Wings

Safwan Ibnu `Asal رضي الله عنه narrated: "I came to the Prophet (ﷺ) while he was in the mosque reclining on a red cloak. I said to him, 'O Messenger of Allaah, I have come seeking knowledge.' He said, 'Welcome to the seeker of knowledge! Indeed, the angels surround the seeker of knowledge with their wings, and some of them ride on others until they reach the lowest heaven out of their love for what he seeks.'" At-Tabarani (7347, 8/54) transmitted it and Shaykh Al-Albani said in As-Silsilah As-Sahihah (3397): its chain of narration (isnad) is hasan (good) with trustworthy narrators.

عن صفوان بن عسال رضي الله عنه قال: أتَيتُ النَّبيَّ ﷺ وهو في المَسجِدِ مُتَّكئٌ على بُردٍ له أحمَرَ، فقُلتُ له: يا رَسولَ اللهِ، إنِّي جِئتُ أطلُبُ العِلْمَ. فقال: مَرحَبًا بطالِبِ العِلْمِ، إنَّ طالِبَ العِلْمِ تَحُفُّه المَلائِكُة بأجنِحَتِها، ثم يَركَبُ بَعضُهم بَعضًا حتى يَبلُغوا السَّماءَ الدُّنيا مِن مَحَبَّتِهم لِما يَطلُبُ. أخرجه الطبراني (٧٣٤٧) (٨/ ٥٤)، وقال الألباني في السلسلة الصحيحة (٣٣٩٧) إسناده حسن رجاله ثقات رجال الصحيح.

Six Adhkaar one should not be heedless of

After the scholars pondered and researched, you will find that the adhkaar one is enjoined to be always increased and frequenting in are six:

1. Salah on the Prophet: Allaahuma solli 'Alaa Muhammad wa sallim.
اللهم صلي على محمد و سلم.

2. Istigfaar: AstagfiruLlaah.
أستغفر الله.

3. Yaa dhal Jalaal Wal Ikraam.
ياذا الجلال والإكرام.

4. Laa hawla wa Laa quwata illaa biLlaah.
لا حول ولا قوة إلا بالله.

5. Laa ilaha illaa Anta SubhaanaKa Innee kuntu minadh dhoolimeen.
إله إلا أنت سبحانك إني كنت من الظالمين.

6. SubhaLlaah Wal Alhamdulillaah wa Laa ila illaa Llaah wa Llaahu Akbar.
سبحان الله ، الحمدلله ، لا إله إلا الله ،الله أكبر.

These are seasons of profits for those with high aspirations. Thus take, may Allaah the Exalted have mercy on you, take a plentiful share of their virtues, and beware of negligence and carelessness; for the negligent one is a loser.

Except That He Was Given Glad Tidings Of Paradise

Abu Hurayrah رضي الله عنه narrated that the Messenger of Allaah صلى الله عليه وسلم said: No one has ever said Laa ilaaha Illa Llaah or said 'Allaahu Akbar' except that he was given glad tidings of Paradise. At-Tabarani "Al-Mu'jam Al-Awsat" (7779) transmitted it and Shaykh Al-Albani authenticated it in Sahih Al-Jami (5569)

عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال قال رسول الله صلى : ما أَهَلَّ مُهِلٌّ قَطُّ، ولا كبَّرَ مُكَبِّرٌ قَطُّ، إلّا بُشِّرَ بالجنَّةِ. أخرجه الطبراني في ((المعجم الأوسط)) (٧٧٧٩) و صححه الألباني في صحيح الجامع (٥٥٦٩).
